The Call of the Siren at NYC Fringe Festival

I am so incredibly excited to announce that I will be playing the title role in the new play, The Call of the Siren, for the New York City Fringe Festival!

The play is about a girl named Karla, who by day, is a struggling dancer, by night, the vigilante hero The Night Siren. Inspired by true events in a story infused with dance, The Night Siren is forced to redefine justice when a fellow dancer is killed.

Swordfight Christmas!

Yes, I know Christmas has come and gone, we’ve all even celebrated the New Year– OK I’m late on my update: plain and simple. However, I have since had my NYC Theatre debut!

I was recently in a fabulously violent Christmas play with the C.A.G.E. Theatre Company, written and directed by Michael Hagins, and aptly titled, Swordfight Christmas. It was a truly wonderful experience and I greatly enjoyed getting to fight with Rapiers again– and what better time to fight with weapons than Christmas, am I right?! Well for those of you who did not get a chance to see the show, do not fret! We will be extending the show for a weekend: January 17th-19th!

Tickets are $15 at 3-5-3 Studios (353 West 48th Street between 8th and 9th aves, New York, NY) and space is limited! To reserve tickets, please email the C.A.G.E. Theatre at [email protected]

New Headshots!

They are almost up and ready to go! I had an incredible opportunity to work with a great professional photographer a few weeks ago. Dan Martinez is a brilliant artist and I am so happy with how the pictures turned out. There are so many that I like, it’s hard to choose! If you’re looking for a great Headshot photographer who does his best to not only bring his personal style into his work, but also works hard to showcase the actor, I would highly recommend him. He and his wife use they’re gorgeous 1200 square-foot apartment in Long Island City, “the shooting area is about 800 ft² with soaring 14 ft ceilings, and [his] windows are 10 ft tall – perfect for strobe and natural light photography!” Here’s a link to his website. New Job

Well, Ladies and Gentlemen, I have booked my first speaking role as a union Actor! Feeling very excited and blessed at the opportunity. More details to come! As soon as it is up, I’ll post a link!

Up and Running!

Welcome to my new website! Here, I will do my absolute best to keep this updated with all of the cool things I’m doing.

It’s the beginning of 2013 and I can’t wait for what this year has in store for me. I have already met some amazing new people, made connections, and it seems as though every audition I go on is bigger than the one before. Let’s hope for the best! It’s been a crazy ride so far with many ups, downs, and bumps along the way, but I’m keeping my head up and definitely growing stronger along the way.
